Helping Students Succeed!

I am a retired Electrical Engineer and Business Manager who loves to teach.  I started tutoring Mathematics when I was 14 years old, mainly to kids in my neighborhood.  I have fond memories of those days, and I remember those kids and their parents, and even their pets as if it was yesterday.

My goal: Happy, Successful Students!

My goal: Happy, Successful Students!

When I was 19 years old, I started working at the Universidad de San Carlos, the largest and oldest university in Central America, as a Physics Lab Assistant Professor.  The next year I also became Assistant Professor of Mathematics.

After I graduated, and after a few years working as an Electrical Engineer in an electric utility company, I returned to academia, at the same university, San Carlos de Guatemala.  I returned as a Professor of Physics and as a Professor of Mathematics.  Through the years, I taught a variety of Physics, Mathematics, and Engineering courses.

After undertaking graduate studies in the United States at Tulane University, I returned home and held various management positions in Guatemala and El Salvador.  I retired twelve years ago and decided to return to my first love, teaching.  I now tutor Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, and Engineering to university and high school students. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than helping my students become happy and successful in their studies and guiding them toward a more satisfying life. This is my goal and I will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
